The Anna Area Historical Preservation Society (AAHPS) is a non-profit organization located in Anna, Texas. It was founded in 2002 with the goal of preserving the history, culture, and architecture of the area.

CHains 17 April 2024 108 of 366 I enjoy disc golf for many reasons, but among the top of the list are scenes like this one. Unfortunately the thick grass was not cooperating with my game, stopping discs in their tracks. Basket 15 at Towne Lake Disc Golf Course.
Water Moccasin (1) While in the Dallas area we visited a couple of parks. Didn't see a ton of wildlife but did come across this Water Moccasin hanging out right next to the boardwalk at the Heard Museum. I'm not sure why the head was so white like this.

You Had to Be There 8 April 2024 99 of 366 There was a solar eclipse today, you may have heard. We traveled to North Carolina in 2017 to see the last one. I took photos with my Minolta, too. I hope they turn out okay.
Violets? I'm not sure what these are. In a few days the entire park will be covered with light purple flowers. With all the rain we've had maybe there will be more this year.
Road Work 4 March 2024 64 of 366 Long shadows follow the workers during their task. I don't know what they're doing, but I know the noise is getting on my last nerve!
Time Marches On 1 March 2024 61 of 366 The shadows stretch across the green grass in the park like a huge sundial, announcing that evening approaches. Alas, it was only 16:37. Just as well, Daylight Saving time begins on the morning of the 10th.
