The Fort Mims Reconstruction Association Inc (FMRA) is a non-profit organization based in Frisco City, Alabama. The FMRA was founded in 1996 by a group of citizens and historians who wanted to preserve the history of the Battle of Fort Mims, which occurred in 1813. The mission of the FMRA is to “preserve, reconstruct and interpret the historic events of the Fort Mims Battle, the Creek War of 1813-1814 and the Creek Indian Nation.”

The FMRA works to educate the public about the significance of the Battle of Fort Mims and the Creek War. This is done through various public events, such as an annual re-enactment that takes place at the site of the original battle. The FMRA also offers guided tours and interactive exhibits, as well as a museum that houses artifacts related to the Battle of Fort Mims.

In addition to its preservation efforts, the FMRA also works to promote tourism and economic development in the region.
