The Denton County Historical Foundation (DCHF) is a non-profit organization based in Denton, Texas, dedicated to preserving the history of Denton County and educating the public about its rich cultural heritage. Founded in 1969, the organization operates several historic sites and museums throughout the county, including the Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum, the Bayless-Selby House Museum, and the Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center.

The Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center is a 2,900-acre nature preserve that offers hiking trails, wildlife viewing, and educational programs on the flora and fauna of the area.

The DCHF also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including an annual fundraiser, tours of historic sites, and educational programs for school groups and community organizations. The organization is run by a board of directors and relies on donations and volunteers to carry out its mission of preserving and sharing the history of Denton County.
