The California Capitol Historic Preservation Society (CCHPS) is a non-profit organization based out of Sacramento, California. Founded in 1981, the organization is dedicated to preserving and protecting the history and architecture of the California State Capitol and its grounds.

The CCHPS works closely with the California State Capitol Commission, the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Office of the Secretary of State to ensure the Capitol’s historic preservation.
