The Brazos Valley African American Museum is located in Bryan, Texas. Central Texas BBQ There’s a BBQ joint near my home in College Station, that’s been here since around the mid 80s when I was a student at Texas A&M. I can start smelling the BBQ at ~0500 in the morning when they fire up the smoke pits. It’s locally owned so I have a responsibility to purchase their BBQ from time to time. Today’s take out selection was smoked turkey, heart healthy greens drowning in pork fat, and “burnt end” crispy pork belly. Alamo Basement Fightin’ Texas Aggie Ring made double sure that Little Texas Aggie BBQ Pig got first taste of the BBQ sauce because it’s a tradition here in Central Texas.
