The Alamo Public Telecommunications Council (APTC) is a non-profit organization that operates public television and radio stations in San Antonio, Texas. APTC was established in 1981 to provide educational and cultural programming to the residents of the Alamo City. Today, it operates KLRN-TV, the local PBS station, and Texas Public Radio, which includes four radio stations serving the San Antonio area.
KLRN-TV offers a variety of programming, including news and public affairs, children's programming, documentaries, and cultural programs. It also produces several local shows, including "Texas Week with Rick Casey" and "On the Record with Jim Forsyth."
