The Harris County Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Houston, Texas. It was established in 1954 with the goal of preserving and promoting the history and heritage of Harris County. The society operates several historic sites and museums that showcase the rich cultural and historical heritage of the region.

The society manages the Kellum-Noble House, which is a restored 1840s Greek Revival-style home that serves as a museum and educational center. The house features exhibits on the daily life of early settlers in Harris County, as well as displays of antique furniture, artwork, and decorative arts.

Another site managed by the society is the San Jacinto Battleground, which is the site of the decisive battle of the Texas Revolution. The society operates a museum and visitor center at the battleground, which features exhibits on the battle and its aftermath.
