Old Anderson County Jail (Palestine, Texas) Historic 1931 Anderson County Jail in Palestine, Texas.  The Art Deco style building served as the county’s jail until the mid-1980s.  It was later converted into a juvenile detention center.

The old Anderson County Jail was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998 (NRHP No. 98000692).
