Friends of the Historic Motley County Jail is a non-profit organization based in Matador, Texas. The group was founded in 2015 with the mission to preserve and promote the historic Motley County Jail. The jail was built in 1891 and served as the county jail until 1974. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
