The Blanton Museum of Art is a museum of art located on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin. The museum was founded in 1963 and is named after its primary benefactor, Jack S. Blanton. The museum is known for its extensive collection of European paintings, prints, and drawings, as well as its significant holdings of Latin American art.

The museum's permanent collection includes works by artists such as Rubens, Van Dyck, and Rembrandt, as well as modern and contemporary works by artists such as Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, and Andy Warhol. The museum also features a rotating schedule of special exhibitions that showcase works from its collection, as well as traveling exhibitions from other institutions.

In addition to its collection and exhibitions, the Blanton Museum of Art is also home to a research center and library, which houses a collection of over 180,000 books, periodicals, and other materials related to art and art history.

The museum is housed in a modern building designed by architect Lawrence Speck, and features multiple galleries, a sculpture garden, and a café. Admission to the museum is free for all visitors, with a suggested donation of $5 for adults. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, with extended hours on Thursdays.
