Smith County Courthouse (Tyler, Texas) Historic 1955 Smith County Courthouse in Tyler, Texas.  The mid-century Modern style building consists of a large six-story central block flanked by two-story blocks.  The courthouse was listed on the 
National Register of Historic Places in 2002 as a contributing resource to the Tyler Downtown Historic District (NRHP No. 100008283).

Goodman Museum is a historical museum located in Tyler, Texas. The museum is housed in a Victorian-style mansion that was built in 1859 by Dr. Samuel Benton, a prominent physician in Tyler. The mansion was later purchased by the Goodman family, who used it as their residence until 1939 when they donated it to the city of Tyler to be used as a museum.

The museum features exhibits that showcase the history of Tyler and its surrounding areas. The exhibits include displays of furniture, clothing, and other artifacts from the 19th and early 20th centuries. There are also exhibits that focus on the Civil War and the role that Tyler played in the conflict.
