INNER SPACE CAVERN

Inner Space Cavern is a natural limestone cave located in Georgetown, Texas. Discovered in 1963, the cavern is estimated to be over 10,000 years old and spans a total of about 1.2 miles. It is a popular tourist attraction, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the unique geological formations and underground wonders of Texas.

Inside the cavern, visitors can see a variety of stunning formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, flowstones, and columns. Additionally, there are underground streams, lakes, and waterfalls to be seen. The temperature inside the cavern is a comfortable 72 degrees Fahrenheit year-round.

Guided tours are available and led by knowledgeable and experienced guides who provide interesting information about the history and geology of the cave. The tour lasts approximately an hour and a half and covers a distance of about half a mile. There are also educational programs available for schools and groups.

In addition to the cave tours, Inner Space Cavern also offers other attractions such as a mining exhibit, a gift shop, and a picnic area. The cavern is open seven days a week, except for a few major holidays. Visitors of all ages can enjoy the unique experience of exploring the Inner Space Cavern.
