The African American History Foundation (AAHF) in Nashville, TN is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting African American history and culture in the city. Founded in 2006, the organization seeks to educate citizens on the importance of this history and to foster understanding and appreciation of African American contributions to the city. The AAHF works to accomplish this mission through a variety of activities, such as sponsoring public events, providing educational resources and programs, and preserving historical sites and artifacts.

The AAHF provides a wide range of educational resources, such as its African American Historic Sites Database, which includes information on more than 400 historic sites in Nashville.
