The Sullivan County Historical Preservation Association (SCHPA) is located in Blountville, Tennessee and is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of local history in Sullivan County. SCHPA was established in 1980 and is run by a volunteer board of directors and local historians. The mission of SCHPA is to promote the preservation of Sullivan County’s rich history and to educate the citizens of Sullivan County about the county’s unique history.
