The Perry County Historical Society (PCHS) is a nonprofit organization located in Linden, Tennessee. Founded in 1972, the society is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Perry County. They collect, preserve, and exhibit artifacts related to the area’s history, as well as providing educational programs to the public about the county’s past.
The society’s headquarters is the historic Perry County Courthouse, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building itself was built in 1879 and served as the courthouse for the county until 1951.
