Marble Springs State Historic Site is located in Knoxville, Tennessee. The site is a 12-acre historic farm and homestead that was the home of John Sevier, the first Governor of Tennessee. The property includes six historic buildings, a reconstructed spring house, a spring-fed pond, and a cemetery. The original 18th century log house, built by Governor Sevier in 1793, is the centerpiece of the site. The grounds also include a smokehouse, kitchen, office, and other outbuildings.
