The Butler Watauga Valley Heritage Association (BWVHA) is a non-profit organization located in Butler, TN. Established in 2005, its mission is to preserve the history and heritage of the Upper Watauga Valley in northeastern Tennessee. The organization works to collect, preserve, and make available to the public local history and artifacts related to the area.

BWVHA operates the Butler Museum, which is located in the old City Hall building. The museum houses a large collection of artifacts and documents pertaining to the Upper Watauga Valley and its history, including items such as old photographs, furniture, tools, and clothing. Under the Linn Cove viaduct In autumn folks usually take crowd-pleasing snapshots of the Linn Cove viaduct and the Blue Ridge parkway from above—in well trampled spots shared by social media. So did I; nonetheless, here is a somewhat rarer take of the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway from beneath the structure. Fall foliage was a bit greener under there.
