Belmont Mansion is a historic house museum located in the Belmont-Hillsboro neighborhood of Nashville, Tennessee. Built in 1853 by Adelicia Acklen, a wealthy widow, the mansion is a prime example of Italianate architecture and is one of the largest houses in the United States. Spanning 26,000 square feet, Belmont Mansion is one of the most visited attractions in the state of Tennessee.

The mansion is built in the Greek revival style and was designed by Nashville architect George Theodor Seither. The interior of the mansion is filled with period furniture, decorative arts, and artwork that belonged to Adelicia Acklen. The most iconic feature of Belmont Mansion is its grand staircase, which was modeled after the famed staircase of the Petit Trianon at the Palace of Versailles.

Belmont Mansion is surrounded by a formal garden and a conservatory, and is home to a variety of animals, including peacocks, swans, and other birds. The grounds also feature a replica of the Parthenon and a small amphitheater.

In recent years, Belmont Mansion has become a popular venue for weddings, corporate events, and other social occasions. The mansion is open to the public for tours, and visitors can explore the grounds, take part in educational programs, and participate in special events. Belmont Mansion is also a popular filming location for television and movies, and has been featured in many films and television shows, including The Last Castle and Nashville.
