Freeman Hall, Belmont University, Wedgewood Avenue, Edgehill, Nashville, TN Built in 1891, this Classical Revival-style building was constructed to house the growing needs of Belmont University.  The building is clad in stucco with a cornice featuring modillions and dentils, a two-story portico with fluted ionic columns on the north facade of the building, multi-story bay windows, one-over-one windows, and wings that connect to the Belmont Mansion, which sits to the south of the building.  The building today houses the administrative offices of Belmont University.

Carter House is a historical estate located in Franklin, Tennessee, just south of Nashville. Built in 1830, it has been home to four generations of the same family and is now a registered historic landmark. It is one of the best-preserved Antebellum homes in the area, featuring a Greek Revival-style architecture.

The grounds of the estate include a large brick mansion, a garden, a carriage house, and a smokehouse. The interior of the house features original hardwood floors, detailed mouldings, marble fireplaces, and ornate chandeliers. There are ten rooms and two hallways in the house, each with their own unique artifacts and decor from the 19th century. The garden is made up of a variety of plants, including magnolias, cedars, and roses, and is surrounded by a low stone wall.

The grounds of Carter House are open to the public for tours and educational programs. The house is also available for private events, such as weddings, receptions, and other gatherings. The house and its grounds are also used for various community events throughout the year, such as the annual Franklin Spring Tour of Homes. In addition, Carter House is the site of several annual Civil War reenactments, which attract thousands of visitors each year.
