The Green McAdoo Cultural Center is located in Clinton, Tennessee, and is dedicated to preserving African American history and culture. The center is housed in the former Green McAdoo School, which was built in 1935 and served as a segregated elementary school for African American students until its closure in 1963. The Center features a variety of exhibits and programs that tell the story of the African American experience in the area.
