Friends of Musgrove Mill State Historic Site is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and promoting the history and heritage of Musgrove Mill State Historic Site in Clinton, SC. The organization was founded in 1985 to help preserve the long and varied history of the Musgrove Mill State Historic Site and to serve as a resource for the community.

The Musgrove Mill State Historic Site is located in Laurens County, South Carolina and commemorates the site of the Battle of Musgrove Mill, which was fought in 1780 during the American Revolutionary War. The site includes a Revolutionary War-era mill, a visitor’s center, a museum, a library, and walking trails.

Normann to serve as a public opera house and city hall for the town of Newberry, South Carolina. The building features a buff brick exterior, decorative brick trim surrounds at the window bays, a hipped roof with side gables, a corbeled brick cornice, a tower with a pyramidal hipped roof, gables with clock faces, arched windows below the clock faces, a cupola, and a weathervane, four-over-four and six-over-four double-hung windows, stone trim, a vaulted metal canopy at the side entrance, a front entrance within a decorative arched portal, a two-story gabled rear ell, and a three-story side ell with a low-slope roof enclosed by a parapet. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969, and is a contributing structure in the Newberry Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, and increased to its present size in 2004. The building served as Newberry City Hall until 1993, when the city government moved to a former bank building on College Street, and the building was subsequently restored, today operating as a performing arts center and events venue.

Former Esso Service Station, College Street and Tench Street, Newberry, SC Built in the mid-20th Century, this building originated as a service station, likely under the Esso brand due to similar stations under that brand being present in other parts of the Southeast, with the rear wing being built of concrete masonry with exterior porcelain-enameled metal panels, exterior restroom entrances, a shed roof at the former office with a wrap-around glass storefront, a former garage section, which is now obscured behind a gabled front addition with a stucco-clad exterior, one-over-one windows, and a double entrance door at a small front porch with metal columns. The building most recently served as a cabinetry shop, but presently sits vacant.

The building features a red brick exterior, large plate glass windows on the front facade, a hipped roof on the front portion of the building with a central front gable, a metal canopy wrapping around the front facade of the building, and a low-slope roof on the rear portion of the building. The building presently houses Lindsay Furniture.
