Revolutionary War: General Casimir Pulaski died fighting the British at the Siege of Savannah This is a monument to Revolutionary War hero Casimir Pulaski at Monterey Square in downtown Savannah, Georgia. General Pulaski was shot by cannon grapeseed fire from the British while attempting to rally fleeing French troops not far from here. Pulaski is considered "the father of American cavalry."

The Bluffton Historical Preservation Society is a non-profit organization located in Bluffton, South Carolina, dedicated to preserving the town's rich history and cultural heritage.
