The Edmondston-Alston House is a historic mansion located in Charleston, South Carolina. Built in 1825, the house was originally owned by Charles Edmondston, a wealthy merchant from Scotland. It was later purchased by Charles Alston, a wealthy rice planter and politician. The house is now owned by the Middleton Place Foundation and is open to the public for tours.

The Edmondston-Alston House is a fine example of Charleston's Federal-style architecture. The three-story brick mansion features a symmetrical façade with a central entrance flanked by two-story columns. The interior is decorated with ornate plasterwork and features period furnishings and artwork.

Star Trails Over the Ashley River Decided to take a few more photos at a spot I was at yesterday to make star trails. Startrails.de wiped my exif data so specs are 20 minutes of 6/s exposures, f/5.0, ISO 100 at 24mm with a Canon APS-C sensor. Photos are taken starting at 40 minutes after sunset.
