Slater Mill is a historic site located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. It was built in the late 18th century by Samuel Slater and was the first water-powered cotton spinning mill in the United States. The mill stands as a symbol of the rise of the industrial revolution in America.

The site consists of an original early 19th century stone mill building, a brick mill building built in 1848, and three additional brick structures built in 1851. The original mill building has four stories and is constructed out of native granite. It is one of the oldest surviving textile mill complexes in the country.

The Slater Mill Museum is located within the complex and offers tours of the complex and its history. The museum houses artifacts from the mill's past, as well as exhibits about the industrial revolution in America.

The mill is a National Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has also been designated a National Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark and a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark.

Slater Mill is open to the public and offers educational programs, tours, and special events throughout the year. It is a popular destination for field trips, school groups, and history buffs alike. The site is also used as a venue for a variety of events, including art and music festivals. It is a must-see destination for anyone interested in the history of the industrial revolution in America.
