The Reading Fairgrounds Racing Historical Society (RFRHS) is a non-profit organization located in Temple, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2009, RFRHS is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of auto racing at the Reading Fairgrounds, a track that was active from 1946 to 1981.

The Reading Fairgrounds was a half-mile track that hosted weekly stock car races and occasional midget car races. It was a popular destination for racing fans and hosted some of the country’s top drivers, including Bobby Unser and Mario Andretti.

RFRHS works to preserve the history of auto racing at the Reading Fairgrounds by collecting artifacts and memorabilia, conducting research, and organizing events. The society also works to educate the public about the history of the track.

RFRHS holds an annual event called the Reading Fairgrounds Reunion, which is attended by current and former drivers, crew members, and race fans. This event includes a car show, a tour of the track, and a banquet. The society also hosts a yearly car show at the Reading Fairgrounds, and hosts other events throughout the year.

The Reading Fairgrounds Racing Historical Society is committed to preserving the history of auto racing at the Reading Fairgrounds and educating the public about the track’s significance in the auto racing community.
