LINESVILLE HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Linesville Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in the borough of Linesville in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1981, the Society's mission is to preserve and promote the history of the Linesville area and its people. The Society operates out of the former Linesville High School building, which was built in 1911 and renovated for use as a museum and community center.

The Linesville Historical Society's museum features exhibits that showcase the town's history, including displays on agriculture, industry, and transportation. The museum also houses a genealogy room, which contains an extensive collection of local history and family records. The Society's research library includes books, maps, and photographs that document the history of the Linesville area.
