The Andrew Carnegie Free Library is a historical library located in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. The library was founded in 1899 by the renowned industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, who donated $40,000 for the construction of the building. It was designed by the architect William Halsey Wood and opened its doors to the public on May 1, 1901.

The library is a two-story, brick and limestone building with a classical design, featuring a grand entrance, a large reading room, and a spacious auditorium. The exterior is adorned with ornate carvings and sculptures, including a bust of Andrew Carnegie himself.

The library's collection includes over 32,000 books, periodicals, and other materials, covering a wide range of subjects, from literature and history to science and technology. The library also offers a variety of programs and services, including children's storytimes, book clubs, and computer classes.

In addition to the library, the building also houses the Carnegie Music Hall, which was added in 1904. The auditorium has hosted many notable performers and events over the years, including lectures by Helen Keller and performances by Harry Houdini and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

Today, the Andrew Carnegie Free Library continues to serve the community of Carnegie and is a beloved landmark in the town's history.
