The West Manchester Township Historical & Preservation Society (WMTHPS) was founded in York, Pennsylvania in 2002. Its mission is to preserve, protect, and promote the unique history and culture of West Manchester Township. The Society’s activities include educational programs, research, and publications.

WMTHPS sponsors lectures, tours, and exhibits, as well as special events such as the annual West Manchester Township Heritage Festival. The Society’s educational programs include a lecture series, field trips, and workshops. The organization also operates a research library, which includes a collection of local history books and periodicals.

WMTHPS is also active in the local preservation community. It works with local government entities, such as the West Manchester Township Historical Commission, to promote historic preservation.
