FRIENDS OF LEMON HILL

Friends of Lemon Hill (FOLH) is a non-profit organization in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that works to protect, restore, and maintain Lemon Hill and the surrounding Lemon Hill Mansion in East Fairmount Park. FOLH was founded in 2003, and is a collaborative effort between the City of Philadelphia and the Fairmount Park Conservancy.

FOLH’s mission is to provide a platform for education and community engagement, while preserving Lemon Hill’s historical integrity and natural beauty. They are dedicated to conserving the historic landscape, and to creating educational and recreational opportunities for the public. To this end, FOLH works closely with the City of Philadelphia, the Fairmount Park Conservancy, and other stakeholders to provide guidance and support for restoration and preservation efforts.

FOLH organizes and hosts several events throughout the year, including guided tours of the mansion and grounds, lectures, music performances, and other activities. They also work with local organizations to provide educational programs for the community, such as the Lemon Hill Nature Program and the Lemon Hill Youth Garden Program.

FOLH is committed to the long-term preservation of Lemon Hill, and works to ensure that its history and importance is not forgotten. Through their efforts, they hope to keep the historic mansion and its grounds a source of beauty and inspiration in the city of Philadelphia.
