HISTORIC BARTRAM'S GARDEN

Historic Bartram's Garden is a 45-acre botanical garden located along the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1728 by John Bartram, a botanist and plant collector, and his son William Bartram. The garden is considered to be the oldest surviving botanic garden in North America.

The garden features a variety of plants and trees, including many that were collected by John Bartram during his travels throughout the colonies.
