Lehigh County Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1845, the organization collects, preserves and interprets local history, with a special focus on Lehigh County. The Society is located in the historic Miller Homestead, a three-story stone mansion constructed in 1825 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Society also operates other historic sites in the area, including the 18th century Moravian Industrial Quarter, the 19th century Rosenberger House, and the newly renovated Lehigh County Courthouse.

The Society's research library provides resources for local history, including photographs, postcards, maps, newspapers, and other primary source materials. The library also houses the Society's collections of artifacts, including textiles, furniture, tools, and objects from daily life. The Society also holds regular programs and events, such as lectures, workshops, and exhibits. Additionally, the Society offers educational programs for school groups and special events for the public.

The Society's mission is to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of Lehigh County and to encourage an understanding and appreciation of the region's past. Throughout its history, the Society has served as a resource for students, scholars, and the general public, providing access to its collections and helping to tell the stories of those who lived in and helped to shape the Lehigh Valley.
