The Alhambra Historical Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Alhambra, California and its surrounding areas. Founded in 1967, the Society is dedicated to preserving the unique past of the community, from its Native American inhabitants to its more recent immigrants from around the world.

The Society offers a variety of programs and activities to inform and educate the public about the history of Alhambra. These include lectures, workshops, guided walks, and exhibits. The Society also maintains archives and collections of artifacts, photographs, and documents related to the city's history.

The Alhambra Historical Society also publishes a quarterly newsletter, The Alhambra Historical Review, and hosts an annual Heritage Day celebration. The Society also works with the City of Alhambra to put on special events and activities that involve the community in the preservation and promotion of its history.

The Alhambra Historical Society works to ensure that Alhambra's past is never forgotten and that its present and future generations have a better understanding of the city's unique and vibrant history. The Society's efforts involve not only the preservation of the past, but also the exploration of the city's diverse cultural, ethnic, and artistic heritage.
