Mini Truck Mod with a secret And my burly fruitcake hauler is gonna need better treads, so I make them using a model motorcycle tire to create a casting which I fill with Mod Podge and then peel it out when dry - instant burly tread for the tires!

Mini Truck Mod with a secret Work continues as I decide to try something new to keep everything as easy as possible.

Foam craft sheets were used to create many details from the front fender flares (after modifying the original rear fenders to fit the front since the ones that came on the original truck were so wrong) to the flatbed deck and the stake panels on the sides.

Mini Truck Mod with a secret Sideboards are made from fiberboard carved to look like individual boards, with more foam used to create the metal strapping. Aluminum armature wire was flattened then bent to create the rope tie-downs on the sides.

Mini Truck Mod with a secret Tiny details like the tailgate hooks and chains were fun to create. I used a cheap necklace for the chain and made the hooks and eyes out of stainless wire.
