The Tillamook County Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Tillamook, Oregon, dedicated to preserving the history of Tillamook County. Founded in 1949, the Society is the oldest county historical society in the state of Oregon. The mission of the Society is to collect and preserve historical materials related to the county, and to provide educational programs and activities to foster an appreciation and understanding of local, regional and state history.

The Society is housed in the historic Tillamook County Pioneer Museum, located in downtown Tillamook. The museum features many exhibits including a replica of a typical pioneer home, a turn-of-the-century schoolhouse, a lumber mill, a Native American exhibit, and a working blacksmith shop. There are also several rotating exhibits highlighting aspects of the county’s history. The museum also houses a research library, which includes books and other materials related to the history of Tillamook County.

The Society also offers a variety of educational programs and activities, such as lectures, workshops, films, and field trips. These activities are designed to enlighten the public about the history of Tillamook County. In addition, the Society publishes a quarterly newsletter and maintains a website that provides updates on the organization's activities and provides an online research library.
