The Cottage Grove Genealogical Society (CGGS) is a non-profit organization located in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Its mission is to promote and encourage the study of genealogy and family history, as well as to preserve and share the heritage of the Cottage Grove community.

The society was founded in 1981 and has since grown to include over 70 members. CGGS hosts monthly meetings, where members share their research progress and learn from guest speakers on a variety of genealogy-related topics. The society also offers workshops, genealogy classes, and research assistance to members and the general public.
