Citizens for Rebuilding the Wimer Covered Bridge is a non-profit organization based in Rogue River, Oregon. The organization was established with the primary aim of rebuilding the historic Wimer Covered Bridge, which was destroyed by fire in 2003.

The group is made up of concerned citizens who are passionate about preserving the historic landmark and ensuring that it remains a part of the community's heritage. They have been working tirelessly to raise funds for the rebuilding of the bridge, as well as to gather support from local and state officials.

The Wimer Covered Bridge was originally built in 1892 and served as an important transportation link for the community for over a century. Its destruction was a significant loss for the community, and many residents have been working hard to see it rebuilt.

Citizens for Rebuilding the Wimer Covered Bridge has been successful in raising a significant amount of funds for the project through various fundraising events, including auctions, raffles, and concerts. In addition, they have received grants from the state and federal governments.

The organization is committed to rebuilding the bridge as an exact replica of the original, using the same materials and techniques that were used in the original construction. They hope that the rebuilt bridge will serve as a reminder of the community's rich history and will continue to be a source of pride for generations to come.
