The High Desert Museum in Bend, Oregon, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to exploring and interpreting the natural and cultural heritage of Oregon’s High Desert region. The Museum offers interactive and educational exhibits, live wildlife and cultural demonstrations, and a variety of special events throughout the year. The Museum’s indoor and outdoor exhibits feature life-size wildlife dioramas, historic and contemporary artifacts, live animals, and interactive displays.

The Museum grounds are home to a variety of wildlife species, including raptors, reptiles, and mammals, which visitors can observe in the museum’s natural habitats. The Museum also offers a variety of educational programs, such as camps and classes, for children and adults to explore the natural world.

The Museum also offers a variety of special events and activities throughout the year, such as the annual Native American Festival and the High Desert Rendezvous. The Museum's annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival showcases nature and wildlife films from around the world.

The High Desert Museum is a great place for visitors of all ages to learn about the natural and cultural history of Oregon’s High Desert region. The Museum is open year-round, daily from 10am to 5pm. Admission fees are charged for visitors.
