Drake Anchorage Research Collaboration (DARC) is a non-profit organization based in Portland, Oregon. The organization was founded in 2019 to research and promote evidence-based solutions to the challenges facing Anchorage, Alaska. DARC's mission is to identify and develop solutions that create social and economic opportunity, increase access to safe and affordable housing, and promote public safety.

DARC works in collaboration with government agencies, local businesses, community-based organizations, and foundations to identify and develop solutions to Anchorage's pressing challenges. DARC's research centers around issues of economic progress and social justice, with a focus on creating equitable outcomes for all Anchorage residents. DARC also works to ensure that Anchorage’s infrastructure and urban development is resilient and can adapt to climate change.

DARC's research activities are focused on identifying, testing, and generating evidence-based solutions to Anchorage’s challenges. To that end, DARC has assembled a team of researchers and analysts, who actively engage with community members, city officials, and other stakeholders to identify and develop solutions. DARC also organizes workshops, presentations, and other events to facilitate dialogue and exchange of ideas between stakeholders.

DARC is committed to creating a more equitable and prosperous Anchorage. By working in collaboration with local stakeholders, DARC hopes to create evidence-based solutions that will improve the lives of Anchorage's residents.
