The Beaverton Historical Society was created in 1998 to preserve and promote the history of Beaverton, Oregon. The Society is a non-profit organization with a mission to collect, preserve, and share the history of Beaverton and its surrounding area. The Society actively collects artifacts, photographs, and documents that illustrate the past. It also documents oral histories, making them available to the public.

The Beaverton Historical Society has a museum located in the Murray Scholls Historic Farmhouse. It features exhibits that showcase the history of Beaverton, such as the City’s founding and growth, as well as the development of its industry and culture. The museum also houses a research library and gallery, which includes an array of photographs, documents, maps, and articles. The Society also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, such as lectures, workshops, and an annual History Fair.
