Friends of the Oregon Caves and Chateau is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve located in Grants Pass, Oregon. Established in 1982, the group is made up of volunteers who work to protect and promote the natural, cultural, and educational resources of the Monument.

The Oregon Caves and Chateau are a unique place to explore and enjoy the beauty of the natural environment. The Park offers a variety of activities including cave tours, camping, hiking, and picnicking. The caves and chateau provide a unique glimpse into the geological and cultural history of the area.

The Friends of the Oregon Caves and Chateau’s mission is to promote and protect the natural, cultural, and educational resources of the Monument and to serve as an advocate for its preservation. Through their efforts, they strive to protect the Monument’s resources, support research and education, and promote public understanding and appreciation of the Monument.

The Friends of the Oregon Caves and Chateau also strive to promote environmental stewardship and provide educational and recreational opportunities to the public. They work to increase public awareness of the Monument, its resources, and its significance and to facilitate public access to the Monument. They are dedicated to helping ensure that the Monument remains a place of beauty, wonder, and discovery for generations to come.
