Founded in 2006, Friends of the Howard House Museum of Palestine Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Hugo, Oklahoma. Its mission is to preserve the history of Palestine, Oklahoma, and its surrounding areas, through the preservation and restoration of the historic Howard House Museum. The Howard House Museum is a three-story Victorian-style mansion built in the late 1800s by W.H. Howard, a prominent rancher in the area. The museum contains many artifacts and memorabilia from the area’s past, including its original furnishings, photographs, and documents.

The Friends of the Howard House Museum of Palestine Inc. host a variety of events throughout the year, such as educational programs, fundraisers, and tours.
