The Washington County Historical Society Inc. (WCHS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Established in 1961, the mission of WCHS is to preserve and promote the history of Washington County and the surrounding region for the benefit of present and future generations.

The society serves to collect, preserve, and make available to the public a wide variety of materials, including books, manuscripts, photographs, newspaper clippings, and other documents that relate to the area’s history. The WCHS also maintains an extensive collection of artifacts, including a large number of items from Osage Nation and early pioneer days.

The museum, located at the historic WCHS building in Bartlesville, houses an extensive collection of artifacts, photos, and documents that reflect the county’s rich history. The museum is open to the public and offers tours and educational programs to the community.

In addition to its museum, the WCHS offers a variety of special programs throughout the year, including lectures and workshops on topics related to local history. The society also publishes a quarterly newsletter, The Washington Countian, which contains historical articles and photographs.
