The Sacramento Model Railroad Club (SMRC) is a non-profit organization based in Sacramento, California. Founded in 1951, it is the oldest continuously-operating model railroad club in California. SMRC is dedicated to the preservation of the craft of model railroading and the enjoyment of the hobby by its members.

The club has an impressive layout which consists of two levels, one on the ground floor and one on the upper level. The two levels are connected via an elevator and stairs, allowing members to experience the entire layout. The layout features multiple train lines, with detailed scenery, towns, bridges, and tunnels. The club also has a library, with books and magazines on the hobby, as well as a workshop for members to work on their own projects.

SMRC holds monthly meetings, which often feature guest speakers and presentations on various topics related to model railroading. The club also organizes field trips to other model railroad clubs, historical railroads, and events throughout the year.
