Washita County Courthouse (New Cordell, Oklahoma) Historic 1910 Washita County Courthouse in New Cordell, Oklahoma.    The Neo-Classical style courthouse was constructed in 1910.  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 (NRHP No. 84003452 as part of the County Courthouses of Oklahoma Thematic Resource).  It is also a contributing resource to the New Cordell Courthouse Square Historic District (NRHP District No. 98001592).

The city is officially named New Cordell, but it is commonly called "Cordell".
