Garfield County Courthouse (Enid, Oklahoma) Historic 1936 Garfield County Courthouse in Enid, Oklahoma.    The Art Deco style building was constructed 1934-36 as a New Deal Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works funded project (also known as the Public Works Administration (PWA)). 

The Garfield County Courthouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 (NRHP No. 84003018 as part of the County Courthouses of Oklahoma Thematic Resource). It is also a contributing resource to the Enid Downtown Historic District (NRHP District No. 07001265).

Woodring Wall of Honor and Veterans Park Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in 2007 in Enid, Oklahoma. Its mission is to honor, recognize, and remember all veterans who have served or currently serve in the United States Armed Forces. The park includes a granite wall with the names of all veterans who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, a memorial walkway with memorial stones dedicated to each branch of the military, a flag plaza, and a Veterans’ Memorial Garden.

The park was designed by the late Major General (Retired) Robert E. Woodring, an Enid native and a highly decorated veteran. He was a member of the 101st Airborne Division, a recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor, and a prisoner of war during the Vietnam War.

The park was opened in 2009 and is located on the grounds of the Chisholm Trail Expo Center. It is open to the public and is maintained by volunteers, donations, and sponsorships. The park hosts a number of events throughout the year, including the annual Veterans Day Ceremony and the annual Wall of Honor Ceremony.

Woodring Wall of Honor and Veterans Park Inc. is a tribute to all veterans who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. It is a place to honor, recognize, and remember the sacrifices and contributions of our veterans.
