The Yorba Linda Preservation Foundation (YLPF) is a non-profit organization based in Yorba Linda, California. Founded in 1979, the YLPF's mission is to preserve, protect and promote the city's heritage and history. The Foundation works to preserve the city's architectural heritage and to protect and promote the city's natural resources, open space and parks.

YLPF is actively involved in preserving and protecting the city’s historic resources. They work to ensure that any proposed development or changes to the city’s structures or landscape are compatible with the city’s heritage and history. The Foundation is also involved in educating the public about the city's historical and cultural significance.

The Foundation works closely with the City of Yorba Linda, local businesses, and other organizations to identify and implement preservation projects. YLPF hosts public events such as historic home tours, lectures, and walking tours. The Foundation also produces the quarterly newsletter, Preservation Matters, which features stories about the city’s history, preservation projects, and upcoming events.

The YLPF also offers a number of scholarships and awards to support and promote the city’s youth. These include the Joe Cannon Memorial Scholarship, the Irving and Marianne Sills Music Scholarship, and the Preservation Award. The Foundation also provides preservation grants to local organizations, businesses, and individuals.

YLPF is an important part of the community and is dedicated to protecting and preserving the city’s history and culture. By working with the City of Yorba Linda, local businesses, and other organizations, the Foundation is ensuring that the city’s heritage and history remains intact for generations to come.
