The Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve in Bartlesville, Oklahoma is a unique destination in the state known for its wildlife, museum, and historical elements. It was created in 1925 by Frank Phillips, founder of Phillips Petroleum, who wanted a ranch with a wildlife sanctuary, museum, and a place for family and friends to visit. It has since grown to encompass 3,700 acres of the Osage Hills and is home to over 30 different species of native and exotic animals, including buffalo, elk, longhorn cattle, longhorn sheep, and more.

The Woolaroc Museum houses a collection of over 20,000 artifacts from around the world, including Native American items, artwork, firearms, and historical artifacts from the oil industry. There are also several interactive exhibits, including an interactive map of the ranch, a virtual tour of the ranch, and a 3D movie theater.

In addition to the museum, the Woolaroc Wildlife Preserve features a variety of hiking trails and scenic overlooks, as well as a seasonal lake and several fishing opportunities. The preserve also offers a variety of educational programs, including guided tours of the wildlife, as well as birdwatching and wildlife photography classes.

The Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve also hosts a variety of special events throughout the year, including a music festival, an outdoor rodeo, and an outdoor movie series. It is also home to the annual Woolaroc Roundup, a family-friendly event that celebrates the heritage of the ranch and the surrounding community.
