It guards the crossing of the Pennsylvania Railroad E&amp;A (Erie &amp; Ashtabula) branch with the P&amp;LE subsidiary Lake Erie &amp; Eastern. The LE&amp;E tracks are nearest the signal and the PRR tracks are between the LE&amp;E and the loaded hoppers. 4/14/82, LE&E, CR(PRR) tracks, Struthers, OH Looking west from the same location we see the LE&amp;E headed off to the left. Traffic was slowing on the P&amp;LE and there are lots of stored boxcars. They are basically down to one mainline. The Hoppers are on the westbound main of the Conrail (PRR). The track looks recently ballasted but I don't know if the train is moving or they are stored hoppers. The PRR yard is to the left of the main. That is the Ohio Central yard now. The bridge went into the Campbell works of the YS&amp;T. A couple of years ago I posted a couple of shots of the area now.

New York City! Still in Ohio and only 411 miles to go! (It's 7:52pm now, we got home at 2:45am.)
