The U.S. Space and Rocket Center Foundation in Huntsville, Alabama is the official educational foundation of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, a Smithsonian affiliate museum. Founded in 1970, the Foundation’s mission is to promote the exploration, understanding and appreciation of space science and technology. The Foundation works to provide educational opportunities, scholarships, exhibitions, and programs within the museum and beyond.
