The Toledo Zoological Society (TZS) is a non-profit organization located in Toledo, Ohio. It is dedicated to the conservation of wildlife and their habitats and to providing exceptional experiences for visitors to the Toledo Zoo. The TZS was established in 1965 and is supported by over 6,000 members. The organization is governed by a board of trustees and receives no government funding.
The TZS supports the Toledo Zoo in many ways, including providing financial assistance, promoting educational programs, and organizing and hosting special events. The TZS also has several committees that work together to promote the Zoo and its mission.
